OVERVIEW:

As a Government owned corporation, QIC is subject to the Public Records Act of 2002.

This legislation requires QIC to have compliant systems, policies, and processes to facilitate the systematic capture, security, management and disposal of QIC records.

To ensure their compliance with legislation, QIC utilises a Document Management System (or DMS) to capture, secure, and manage all electronic documents and records of transaction.

Commissioned by Data#3, I created rich video training assets to provide QIC staff with an overview of how to use the DMS, why they use the DMS, and what type of records you should be entering into the DMS.

SOLUTION:

After attending internal training sessions for the DMS, I synthesised all instructor-lead training into seven structured, short training videos. These were composed from a mix of live action, animation and screen capture for the client.

Video subject included:

1. Introduction to the DMS

2. DMS Naming Conventions

3. Searching DMS Records

4. Saving Documents into DMS

5. Entering Email Records into DMS

6. Using Versions

7. Deleting DMS Records
