Shelf Lovers' Story Time

Filmed on-site at Brisbane's premiere LGBTQIA+ bookstore, this series features Brisbane Drag Queens reading stories for children and parents around the world to enjoy.

Hugh Whitehouse (He/Him)

B.FA (Film & TV Production), Master of Journalism, Handsome

Hugh Whitehouse is a multi award-winning Producer, Director, Writer and Editor with roots in Far North Queensland and currently based in Springwood, Queensland, Australia.


Across his 20 year carreer, Hugh has produced light-entertainment, corporate storytelling, and journalism content across a range of broadcast and online environments for partners across the Asia Pacific region.

 

Hugh specialises in impact storytelling -- finding and amplifying voices from diverse or often under-represented groups -- and is a fierce supporter of Arts and Innovation. 

Hugh is a three-time nominee for "Ally of the Year" at the Queens' Ball in Brisbane, Queensland and sits on the board of LGBTQIA+ Charity Queer & Here Ltd.
